How we do it

5 steps

Before quoting, we go through your existing account (or your market, if you’re starting fresh): change history, search terms, conversion setup, wasted spend. Jordan Parrello, our Advertising Director, runs this personally.

We build and test conversion tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, with consent handling done properly. Most underperforming accounts we inherit have been optimising toward numbers that were wrong.

Campaigns, ad groups, keywords and responsive search ads assembled in Google Ads Editor; Shopping feeds configured in Merchant Centre. You review the build before anything goes live.

Search-term pruning, budget moves between campaigns, bid-strategy adjustments and structured experiments, all logged in the account where you can see them.

A Looker Studio dashboard you can open any time, plus a walkthrough of what changed, what it cost, what it returned, and the plan for next month. The person presenting is the person doing the work.

m|devices

m|devices came to us for a website rebuild and stayed for the advertising. We redesigned their site, then built the paid search programme that sends qualified medical-device buyers to it: campaign structure, conversion tracking and landing pages working as one system. In the first three months, the Google Ads campaigns drove 1.36k clicks and a surge in sample requests — the conversion their whole direct-to-consumer strategy was built around.

“Gudu is more like a part of my team, than an external agency — my KPIs are their focus. They deliver results and are an absolute delight to work with.”

FAQ

There are two costs. Your media budget, which you pay directly to Google from your own account, and our management fee, which we quote after auditing your account or market. The fee scales with how many campaigns you run and how much ongoing work the account genuinely needs. We won’t quote before the audit, because we’d be guessing.

Ads can show the day campaigns go live; that immediacy is the point of paid search. Expect the first two to four weeks to be learning: search-term data coming in, bid strategies calibrating, early pruning. Judge the programme properly at 90 days, once there’s enough conversion data to compare against your targets.

Everything listed under “What you get” on this page: campaign build or rebuild, Shopping feed management, conversion tracking in GA4 and Tag Manager, ad copywriting, weekly optimisation, landing page recommendations and a monthly plain-English report. If an account needs structural work one month and only pruning the next, that’s what happens, and the change history will show it.

Yes, always. The account, its data and its history are yours from day one, whether we built it or inherited it. If you ever leave, you remove our access and everything stays with you. Agencies that hold client accounts hostage are the reason this question exists. Ask it of anyone you’re considering.

Open the account yourself. Check the change history for real work under named users, read the search terms report for junk queries eating budget, and confirm conversions track enquiries or sales rather than page views. Then compare the report you’re sent against what the account shows. Ten minutes usually settles it.

Yes. We run paid search for clients in Sydney, Melbourne and across Australia; the team works from four locations, so there’s no head office you need to be near. Google Ads is managed remotely by nature. What matters is that the person running your account picks up the phone when you call.
