What you get
The scope, in writing
-
Animated explainer video production
Script, voiceover, storyboard and animation for a 60–90 second video that explains what you do and why it matters. The format that earns its keep on your homepage, in sales emails and at the top of ad funnels.
-
Motion graphics
Kinetic type, animated infographics and charts that move, for launches, reports and social. Built on your brand guidelines rather than a template pack.
-
Corporate animation
Training modules, internal comms, onboarding and investor presentations. The dry material, made watchable.
-
Animated social ads
Six, fifteen and thirty-second versions cut per placement for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, with captions burnt in for sound-off viewing.
-
Logo animation and brand stings
A two-second animated mark for your video endings, presentations and channel branding.
-
Web and interface animation
Lottie files and lightweight loops your developers can drop straight into a site without wrecking load times.
-
Voiceover and music, licensed properly
You pick the voice from a shortlist we record against your script. Music is licensed for where the video will actually run, in writing.
-
Every source file
Project files, assets and masters are yours. If we part ways, you take the lot.
How we do it
5 steps
We start with the one thing the video has to get across, then our copywriting team drafts a script to a word count that fits the runtime. You approve the script before anything gets drawn, because that’s the cheapest stage to change your mind.
Mark Hebblewhite, our Design Specialist, illustrates the key frames in Adobe Illustrator so you see the exact look of the finished video before animation begins. Changes here take minutes; the same changes after animation take days, which is why we hold for sign-off.
We record the voiceover from a shortlist of voices you choose, and license the music track for the channels the video will run in. Locking audio first means the animation is timed to the read, not stretched to fit it afterwards.
The approved boards are animated in Adobe After Effects: character work, kinetic type, transitions and sound design. You review a full working cut rather than getting a surprise final render.
Two structured review rounds are built into every quote, with your comments logged and answered line by line. Then we deliver the master, the social cutdowns, captions and all source files, and stay on hand for extra versions as campaigns evolve.

FAQ
In the Australian market, a professionally produced 60–90 second explainer runs roughly $3,000 to $15,000+, driven by style (simple motion graphics at the low end, full character animation at the top), script complexity and voiceover. We quote a fixed price per project with two review rounds included, so the number you sign is the number you pay.
Four to six weeks for a standard 60–90 second explainer: about a week for script and storyboard approval, a week for voiceover and style frames, then two to three weeks of animation and reviews. Your approval speed is the biggest variable. If you have a hard launch date, tell us at the brief and we’ll build the schedule backwards from it.
Everything from blank page to delivered files: script, storyboard, style frames, voiceover recording, licensed music, animation, sound design, two review rounds, the master file, social cutdowns with captions, and all source files. The full list is under “What you get” above. If something you need isn’t there, ask — we’d rather scope it upfront than surprise you later.
Sixty to ninety seconds for most jobs. That’s roughly 150–220 words of voiceover — enough to set up the problem, show the product and land one call to action. Past two minutes, completion rates fall away sharply. If your product genuinely needs longer, we’ll usually argue for a short main video plus separate deep-dive videos rather than one long one.
Our in-house work is 2D: motion graphics, illustrated character animation and kinetic type, which covers almost every explainer, ad and corporate job at a sensible budget. 3D costs multiples more and rarely earns it for this kind of work. Where a project genuinely calls for 3D, we bring in a specialist from our vetted partner network and stay accountable for the result.
Watch their reel and ask whose style it is — if every video looks the same, you’re buying their template, not your brand. Ask who writes the script, because the words do more work than the drawings. And ask who owns the source files when the project ends. Our answers: the style is built from your guidelines, our writers script it with you, and every file is yours.
