Digital production
Production is the build work between an approved design and a live asset: HTML5 banners, EDMs, landing pages and CMS updates, coded to spec, tested, and delivered on the campaign’s deadline rather than after it.

What you get
The scope, in writing
-
HTML5 display banners
The full Google Ads and programmatic size set built from one approved design: animated, under each platform’s weight limit, click tags wired and verified. One concept becomes every slot on the media plan.
-
EDM builds
EDMs (marketing emails) coded as reusable templates and tested across the mail clients your list actually opens in. What renders in the design file also renders in Outlook.
-
Landing pages
Campaign pages built on your CMS or as standalone pages, with forms, tracking and analytics wired in before launch.
-
CMS builds and updates
New pages, content changes and template amends inside your existing WordPress, Shopify or custom CMS, done by developers rather than whoever had a spare hour.
-
Resizing and versioning at volume
An approved master turned into every crop, language or offer variant the plan calls for, under a naming convention the media team can trace in reporting.
-
Tracking and QA
UTMs, pixels and click tags checked against the media plan before anything goes live. Untracked clicks are spend you can’t account for.
-
Every file, yours
Source files, exports and repositories handed over. Nothing is held back to keep you on a retainer.
How we do it
5 steps
Before we quote, we gather the placement list, ad-server spec sheets, CMS access and brand files. Production goes wrong at handover, so we start there. If we also run your media or built your site, most of this is already in the building.
Designs come from our creative team or yours; Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud files both work. Our web development team hand-codes the HTML5, EDM and page builds, and the banner set is generated from one master so a late copy change doesn’t mean thirty separate edits.
Banners are checked against each platform’s weight and animation rules, EDMs rendered across major mail clients, pages tested on actual phones and browsers. Click tags and tracking get clicked, not assumed.
Every asset goes up on a staging link before it ships. Amendments happen on the proof, at proof cost, instead of after launch at panic cost.
Assets are trafficked to the platform or handed to your team, and everything is versioned in Git so any file can be found, amended or rebuilt months later without an archaeology project.

FAQ
Production is the technical build stage that turns approved creative into working assets: coding HTML5 banners, building EDMs and landing pages, loading content into a CMS, and wiring the tracking. Design decides what an asset looks like; production decides whether it loads, renders, tracks and ships on time. Agencies rarely sell it separately, which is why campaigns so often stall between “approved” and “live”.
Scale and lifespan. Web development builds and maintains the site itself: architecture, templates, performance, the thing that lasts years. Production builds the assets that live on and around it: campaign pages, banners, EDMs, content updates, work measured in days and shipped in batches. Same developers here, different job. If you need a new site rather than assets for one, start at our web development page.
Yes, and a good share of our production work runs exactly that way. Send the Figma or Adobe files and the placement list, and we return spec-correct, named files your media team or ours can traffic directly. Anything in the design that won’t survive the spec, like a font that blows the weight limit or a layout that breaks at 300×50, gets flagged before we build it rather than after it bounces.
A full banner set from an approved master typically takes days, not weeks; EDMs and landing pages usually one to two weeks depending on testing rounds and CMS access. The honest variable is approvals — ours is rarely the slow lane. For always-on accounts like Southern Phone, production is scheduled against the media calendar, so assets are ready before the flight starts.
We quote per batch, scoped on asset count and complexity: a resize is cheap, a coded EDM template or tracked landing page is not, and the quote says which is which line by line. Accounts with steady output usually move to a monthly production retainer, which beats per-job pricing once volume is regular. Either way you approve a number before we build anything.
Whatever the placement list demands: the standard Google Ads and programmatic display sizes as HTML5 under each network’s weight and animation limits, social-platform specs, EDM builds for the major mail clients, and pages for WordPress, Shopify or a custom stack. We work from the actual spec sheet for each platform, so files don’t bounce back at trafficking.
